Blue Hens sting Hornets to remain unbeaten in Route 1 Rivalry

SALISBURY, Md- The University of Delaware football team moved to 4-0 on the season, defeating rival Delaware State 34-14 on Saturday afternoon in Dover.

Smyrna graduate Nolan Henderson threw for 167 yards and a score for the Blue Hens, with teammate Dejoun Lee finishing with 109 yards rushing and two scores on the evening.

For DSU (2-2), Jared Lewis finished with the lone offensive touchdown on the day.

Delaware State will host MEAC rival South Carolina State on next Saturday, hoping to finish the season above .500 for the first time since 2012.
