Beebe employee honored for life-saving intervention

DELAWARE – One employee in the first state was honored for her life-saving intervention while cleaning a patient’s room.

Beebe Healthcare honored Martha Proano with a LOVE Letter Award. Beebe says Martha was in an inpatient hospital room cleaning the floor when she noticed a patient started to bleed. Martha jumped into action, called for backup, and immediately notified an RN. That RN says Martha demonstrated that everyone at Beebe Healthcare is an important member of the healthcare team and is involved in patient care.

Beebe says they are so grateful to have Martha on their team, as she truly cares about everyone she encounters.
