Talbot Co. elementary students to return to four days of in-person instruction

EASTON, Md. – Elementary school students in Talbot County will soon return to the classroom four days a week.

Starting Monday, April 12th, all currently elementary in-person students in grades Pre-K through 5th will attend school on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesdays will remain both asynchronous and synchronous learning pending individual schedules.

Students in grades 6 through 12 currently attending school in-person will continue with their AA/BB day synchronous model four days per week, with Wednesdays remaining asynchronous. This is due to the 6-foot distancing rule for secondary schools.

We’re told Talbot County Public Schools is revising transportation routes so that they can notify families of any changes to pick up and drop off times. They will also be posting the capacity and rider numbers per bus by school.
