Salisbury Mayor Jake Day receives care package from local non-profit

DELMARVA – Some of the packages sent by a local non-profit to troopers overseas have been delivered.

Salisbury Mayor Jake Day is currently serving our country overseas in Africa, and local non-profit Operation We Care sent him some things to remind him of home and thank him for his service. On Facebook, Mayor Day thanked Operation We Care and multiple volunteers who signed the flag, adding, “You’ve given dozens of soldiers, marines, sailors, and airmen a smile!”
