Police seeking information on hit and run crash that injured pedestrian

GEORGETOWN, Del. – Delaware State Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle involved in a hit and run that seriously injured a pedestrian late last month.

We’re told at around 11:30 p.m. February 19th, a 30-year-old Milford man was walking northbound on County Seat Highway, north of Concord Road and south of Sussex Technical High School when he was hit by a vehicle. After the collision, the vehicle fled northbound.

Police say the victim was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance with a serious injury to his lower extremity.

The vehicle possibly involved in the crash was described as a white Oldsmobile Alero with a spoiler. It is unknown if the suspect vehicle has any damage to it.
