Gov. Carney formally extends State of Emergency in Delaware
WILMINGTON, Del. – Governor John Carney formally extended Delaware’s State of Emergency another 30 days on Friday.
“We have expanded vaccine eligibility to get the life-saving COVID-19 vaccine out to more Delawareans in a way that is fast and fair,” said Governor Carney. “But until we can vaccinate enough people, let’s do what works to fight community spread. Avoid large gatherings. Wear a mask. Wash your hands frequently. Stay vigilant and we’ll get through this.”
The State of Emergency remains in place to combat the spread of COVID-19.
