Fager’s Island, Bad Monkey approved for new waiting area in OC

OCEAN CITY, Md.- Fager’s Island and Bad Monkey were recently approved for changes to the properties.

Owner, John Fager, said this past summer they seated a lot of people outdoors or they had people waiting for tables because of how they had to space them.

People were waiting in the parking lot, which was not safe.

So, they decided they wanted to build a deck for people to wait on.

This deck will be enclosed, and they will serve drinks while people are waiting for a table.

Fager said this plan is about making customers feel comfortable and adding to their overall experience.

“I think it makes it more pleasant for the people to wait and I don’t think people mind waiting if they know what they are going to get, so we can make them comfortabl , put a drink in their hand while they are waiting, give them a nice seat, a safe place,” Fager said.

Fager said in order to make this deck they will need to give up some parking spaces, so they will have off-site parking to make up for the lost space.

We are told that they are starting this project now.
