Delmar boy gets special surprise

DELMAR, Del. – A young boy in Delmar got a special surprise.

On Friday, 4th grader Carter was surprised by his mom and stepdad, who just returned from deployment with the U.S. Army. As you can see, Carter ran over to his stepdad and hugged him.

Delmar Elementary thanked his mother and his stepdad, sergeant Hitch, for allowing them to participating in Carter’s surprise.
