Community helping father and 8-year-old son after Maryland house fire

WHALEYVILLE, Md.- One woman is trying to help her friend and his 8-year-old son who lost everything in a recent house fire.

Amy Roche said her friend, Joe Timmons, and his son were able to escape the fire, but now they need help to rebuild their home.

They also need help to rebuild his small business, Goatopia llc., which was run out of the house and on his farm.

We are told Joe makes all-natural soaps and lotions from goats milk.

Roche said but now that the fire destroyed the house Joe has to pick up the pieces and that’s going to be difficult.

That’s why she created a GoFundMe and is hoping the community will support the family.

“If we can all just chip in just a little bit to help him pick the pieces up, to fix his house, to get his small business back up and running, you know I would just love to see him back out in the community selling his products and just doing what he loves to do,” Roche said.

Roche said she would love to see Timmons be able to get all the supplies that he needs once again.
