Wicomico Grows Kindness getting people ready for Random Acts of Kindness Week

SALISBURY, Md.- If you’re looking for a time to spread some kindness in the community next week is your chance.

Random Acts of Kindness Week begins February 14th in Salisbury.

Friday, the founder of Wicomico Grows Kindness Grace Murdock and Acting Mayor Julia Glanz went out to pump people up for the week long event.

They handed out flowers and candy to businesses.

Murdock said they hope the community will join them in participating in the week’s activities, as the say many could use the kindness during these trying times.

“This is a great mental health activity because when you are kind, it helps your heart , it helps all of your attitude toward life and we need it now even more because people are still struggling,” Grace Foxwell Murdock, SBY Secretary of Kindness, said.

We are told kindness week will run from February 14th to 20th.
