Police: Search of Dover home leads to recovery of more than 9 pounds of marijuana, $52k in drug proceeds
DOVER, Del. – A father and son were arrested Wednesday afternoon following an investigation into the sale of drugs from their residence in the 1400 block of College Road.
Police say they learned that 28-year-old Pierre Foreman Jr. was selling large amounts of marijuana from the home. He was stopped by an office in the area of White Oak Road and Dover Park Wednesday afternoon, and during the stop, officers located 24.7 grams of marijuana and $455 in suspected drug money.
A search warrant was obtained for Foreman Jr.’s College Road residence, which was executed at around 3:15 p.m. The suspect’s father, 58-year-old Pierre Foreman Sr. was taken into custody at this time. Inside, offices found 4,240 grams (9.348 pounds) of marijuana, a 9mm handgun with an extended magazine, and $52,020 in drug money. It was later learned that the firearm was stolen from Kentucky in 2017.
Foreman Jr. was charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, two counts of possession of firearm/ammo by person prohibited, receiving stolen firearm, second degree conspiracy, and traffic charges. He was held at SCI on a $121,200 cash bond.
Foreman Sr. was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, two counts of possession of firearm/ammo by person prohibited, receiving stolen firearm, and second degree conspiracy. He was released on an unsecured bond.
