Police investigating after large fight leads to shooting

Milford, DE – Milford police are searching for suspects involved in a weekend shooting that damaged a car.

We’re told on Saturday, January 30th,  a group of people were involved in a large fight at a commercial building in the 300 block of Milford-Harrington Hwy.

That fight led to several people firing off rounds, striking a car as it was on the roadway during the time of the shots being fired. When officers arrived we’re told everyone ran off and whoever fired the shots was not able to be found.

While the crowd was dispersing, police say two drivers collided, leaving one with disabling damage while the other drove off.

We’re told it’s unknown at this time if anyone was injured in that exchange.
