New registration measures for vaccines

WORCESTER CO., Md – Worcester County Health Department is updating how someone can register individuals for COVID-19 vaccine clinics

According to health officials, the previous way to register for vaccines caused frustration among the community. Although the previous registration steps were online, appointments were being filled almost as soon as they were posted. With the lack of vaccines meeting the demand, the waiting lists were causing major confusion.

Health officials say, keeping one central waiting list without a capacity limit, will remove the stress of rushing to grab an appointment before it is filled. If you are not eligible to get the vaccine you cannot make an appointment, and if you are eligible you can’t get the vaccine unless you register for one.
