Maryland launches new campaign to promote coronavirus vaccine

Maryland – Gov. Larry Hogan launched a new coronavirus campaign on Friday, January 29th.

The campaign, called Go-Vax is a public outreach and equity campaign, designed to reach out all Marylanders, especially those in undeserved populations that have been affected by the disease.

Go-Vax includes videos of state leaders who will talk about why they got vaccinated and personal testimonials with first responders, religious leaders, research scientists, and more.

We’re told this campaign will reach the state on every platform to make sure all Marylanders are encourage to get vaccinated.

“We will will be taking this campaign to every corner of every community, to TV, radio, billboards, social media, zoom, whatever it takes to promote the safety and efficacy of these covid-19 vaccines,” Gov. Hogan said.

We’re told¬† Go-Vax will run throughout 2021 and the campaign will evolve as vaccine supply increases and more Marylanders become eligible to receive vaccinations.
