Kind SBY recognizes local team giving back to healthcare workers

SALISBURY, Md. – Some people are highlighting what one team is doing for healthcare workers at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.

On Wednesday, Kind SBY recognized the hard work of Pastor John Tyler and the Pastoral Care Department at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional. We’re told that team pushes a Mobile Love and Kindness cart to various departments daily to comfort the staff. The cart holds things like anxiety scriptures, compassion fatigue assessment information and what to do about it, prayers, and much more.

The cart is for staff to be able to take time and get some coffee or tea and a snack to take a breath during their shift. Kind SBY also made a small donation to the cart so they have what they need for employees.
