Dover shooting leaves one wounded

DOVER, Del.– Police are investigating a shooting that happened earlier Sunday morning that left one man wounded.

Police say they responded to Oasis Hookah Lounge on North DuPont Highway around 12:50 Sunday morning.

Investigators determined a 23-year-old man was walking to his car when multiple shots were fired, the victim was shot in the upper part of his body and was taken to a local hospital to be treated.

There is no suspect information at this time and no other reported injuries, and anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Detective Ford with Delaware State Police by calling 302-698-8569.
