Community members calling on local artists to share work

SALISBURY, Md. – Artists in the Salisbury area, listen up: two community members have a downtown space and they want you to fill it with your art.

Brandon Bell and Deserea Martin are two local artists who take every opportunity they can to involve the entire community in art. Now, with their hands on a downtown window space, they’re calling on local artists to share their work and display it in that window.

The two say it’s the perfect spot to show off your talents, as people will walk by and see the work. Plus, they say just giving local artists this opportunity could lead to more good things.

“I think it will also inspire people to get their work into a window unit, it sounds maybe simple and small to some people, but for others it’s like the first time they’re going to display their stuff to the public, so that’s probably the biggest kicker for me. I know we’re going to give people a nice ego boost to continue to do that and hopefully meet people along the way,” said Bell.

If you’re an artist interested in displaying your work, you can post a photo of your art online and tag Brandon and Deserea at we are limitless studios.
