Cambridge shooting under investigation

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Cambridge Police are actively investigating a shooting that left one injured Wednesday night.

We’re told officers were called to the 700 block of Washington Street just before 8:30 p.m., where they found a 19-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound to the face. The victim reported that he was standing in the area when a subject he did not know shot him from a good distance away.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
