Bald eagle recovering after crashing through windshield

WORCESTER CO., Md. – A bald eagle is being cared for and taken care of after an accident with a windshield.

Perdue says they donated $2,000 to Tri-State Bird Rescue and Research Facility after a bald eagle crashed through the windshield of one of their trucks while their driver was traveling on a Maryland highway in Worcester County. We’re told a driver was driving last week when the bald eagle dived down for prey and crashed through his windshield. The driver got out of the car and put his jacket over the eagle to try to calm him down until authorities came to rescue him.
