Woman Shot Inside Hotel In Dover

DOVER, De.– Police say a man is behind bars after he shot someone inside a hotel room early Sunday morning.

We’re told officers responded to the Capital Inn just after midnight.

When they got there they reportedly found a 25-year-old woman with three gunshot wounds in her hip area, as well as multiple lacerations and bruises to her head and face.

Witnesses reportedly told officers the suspect Tyrone Allison ran from the hotel room and was inside a car.

Police say they searched Allison’s vehicle and found a handgun in the center console.

Allison was arrested without incident, and is facing four charges including 1st degree assault.

He’s being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on an 86 thousand dollar cash bond.

We’re told the victim is being treated at nearby hospital and the case remains under investigation.
