Weather Tidbits: ENSO Neutral
This Weather Tidbits wraps up our discussion with ENSO, with an ENSO Neutral. An ENSO Neutral happens when the tropical Pacific is neither warmer or cooler than normal. This leads to a subtropical jet to be mostly south of the United States with mostly dry conditions over parts of the South. The polar jet stream digs into the Midwest bringing cool to cold conditions from the Northeast to the Great Lakes. This also sets the Northeast with a better chance of clipper system.
