Rehoboth Beach bank robbery under investigation
REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a bank robbery that took place Tuesday afternoon in Rehoboth.
According to police, at around 3:17 p.m., the PNC Bank located at 19745 Sea Air Drive was robbed. Investigation has revealed that the male suspect entered the bank, displayed an unknown type of gun, and ordered everyone inside the bank into a back room. He then allegedly stole an unknown amount of money before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.
The suspect was described as a male, approximately 5’6″ to 6′ tall, with a large build. He was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and light-colored pants. He was wearing a face covering, sunglasses, and gloves.
No one was injured during the robbery. Police say there are no surveillance photos available at this time.
