Police investigate bomb threat in Easton

EASTON, Md.– Easton Police responded to a call of a bomb threat shortly before 9 a.m. on Sunday.

Police responded to 8155 Elliott Rd when officers learned that an employee received an unspecified threat regarding a possible explosive within the business.

Easton had assistance from the Maryland State Police, as there Bomb Detection K-9 teams cleared the building.

An all clear was announced around 11:45 Sunday afternoon, and Elliott Rd and the surrounding streets were shut down for approximately three hours.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
