Police: Dover residence, vehicle damaged by gunfire

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating a shooting that damaged a vehicle and residence Tuesday afternoon.

We’re told at around 3:25 p.m., a 44-year-old woman was driving east on White Oak Road when she reportedly heard several gunshots, one of which hit the rear quarter panel of her vehicle. A nearby residence in the 1100 block of White Oak Road was also hit several times by gunfire.

No injuries occurred as a result of this incident.
