Operation We Care donates care packages to healthcare workers

SALISBURY, Md. – One non-profit in Salisbury is doing what they can to thank healthcare workers and make them feel appreciated.

On Wednesday, Jeff Merritt with Operation We Care stopped by TidalHealth Peninsula Regional and gave care packages to share with the respiratory team. Each box had handwritten notes, some gift cards, a note from Kind SBY, and snacks for each team member.

On Facebook, Operation We Care says this project began last week to support the staff on the front lines of the Covid response effort. They say they hope this helps the team get through a long shift or a tough day and is a reminder of how much they appreciate what they are doing.
