MD Police prepare for inauguration
SALISBURY, Md. – With the inauguration quickly approaching, states are making extra preparations. With last years riots, and the most recent capital riots, police say they are on higher alert than recent years. Near by states are said to be sending some of their police men and women to DC on inauguration day.
With whispers of riots around the country, police tell us they must be prepared for anything.
Salisbury police tell us, they’re monitoring local delegates and their offices will respond appropriately if they receive any word of a threat. Lieutenant Chris Davala from Salisbury Barrick E says, they’re deploying staff to Annapolis and DC starting Monday to assist the call up from Governor Hogan.
