Georgetown girl donates to Shepherd’s Office
GEORGETOWN, Del. – One 12-year-old girl is stepping up to make sure those in need are warm this winter.
On Facebook, a girl named Maggie, who leads Maggie’s Annual Coat Drive, announced that she donated 188 coats along with scarves, hats, and gloves to the Shepherd’s Office last week. Jim Martin, who runs the Shepherd’s Office, thanked Maggie and her family for the amazing work they do to make sure those who are homeless or in need are warm and taken care of.
This is Maggie’s fourth annual coat drive and she was especially eager to help even more this year because of the pandemic.
