First baby of the new year

DOVER, Del. – Starting off the new year, the first baby born in 2021 came into the world at 10:52 am at Bayhealth Hospital.

Baby Josiah weighed 5 pounds, 5 ounces, and was born to parents Angelica Batiz and Jonathan Rosa of Dover.
The little bundle of joy has two older brothers and one older sister.

Due to COVID, there can be no outside visitors but the family welcomes their new year baby with gifts from the hospital and, and a title as one of the first babies born in the new year.
