Drug investigation leads to multiple charges for Dover man
DOVER, Del. – Dover Police arrested a man on numerous charges following an investigation into the illegal sale of drugs.
On Monday, officers took 43-year-old Keith Adkins into custody in the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn on North DuPont Highway in Dover. Shortly afternoon, a search warrant was executed at Adkins residence in the 300 block of North Governors Avenue, resulting in the recovery of 22.2 grams of powder cocaine, 6 doses of ecstasy, 19 doses of amphetamine/dextroamphetamine, 361 grams of marijuana, paraphernalia, and $2,251 in drug money.
Adkins was subsequently charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of MDMA, possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. He was later released on an unsecured bond.
