Businesses preparing for Berlin’s annual Restaurant Week, adding food specials

BERLIN, Md. – Businesses in Berlin are preparing for the town’s annual Restaurant Week which runs from Monday, January 11 to Sunday, January 17.

Almost a dozen restaurants will be offering specials for grab and go meals, curbside pick up, delivery as well as in-person dining. Organizers say this week is a way to bring in more business to places that have been hit hard by pandemic restrictions as well create more foot traffic during a slow time of the year.

“The restaurants love it. It gives them a little boost during the cold month of January where nothing is really going on and people just like to see some of the restaurants they’ve never tried in Berlin,” says Ivy Wells, the Economic and Community Development Director for Downtown Berlin.

If you dine at three places during Berlin’s Restaurant Week, make sure to save your receipts and drop them in the bin outside the Berlin Welcome Center with an attached ticket. You’ll be entered in a raffle to win restaurant gift cards and one-hundred dollars cash. Click here for contest details.

The participating restaurants and their menus are posted on the Facebook event page “Berlin Restaurant Week.” Click here to visit that page.
