Berlin Hearts for Heroes celebration coming up to support front line workers, customers

BERLIN, Md.-  The Berlin Chamber of Commerce will be paying tribute to the front line heroes and customers who have supported the town over the past year.

The new initiative is called the, Berlin Hearts for Heroes celebration, that will happen Valentines and Presidents Day weekend.

We are told that shops will put hearts in the window in support of these workers and customers.

There will also be activities and discounts that businesses will put on.

The Deputy Director of the Chamber said this celebration is a way to help struggling businesses, but also to spread the love during such trying times.

“This is a way for shops and restaurants to show some love to those folks as well,” Steve Frene, Deputy Director, said. “We just want them to know we do feel so blessed to have them out there and carrying on you know making some sense of normalcy out of all this.”

Once again, the celebration will happen from February 15th to the 17th.

If you would like to know more about this event and which businesses will participate, you can go on the Berlin Maryland Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
