AGH to hold weekly community COVID-19 vaccination clinics

Corona 2

BERLIN, Md. – Atlantic General Hospital officials announced on Monday that they plan to begin weekly COVID vaccination clinics focused solely on individuals 65 and older.

We’re told additional clinics that meet Phase 1B and 1C requirements will be added as vaccines become available. Clinics are scheduled to begin this Tuesday, January 26th, and will be held Tuesdays through Fridays at the hospital. Clinics scheduled for this week are already full, according to officials, but new clinic dates will be posted as vaccines arrive.

Online registration is required through the state of Maryland’s COVID-19 vaccine scheduling website. Officials say all registrations must be scheduled through this website as there are no alternate registration options for the hospital clinics.

These current clinics at Atlantic General Hospital are only for individuals who are 65 years of age or older. Anyone who registers that does not fall into this age group will have their appointment removed. Those with an appointment should go to the main lobby at the hospital, no more than 15 minutes before their scheduled vaccination time. Individuals are asked to bring a driver’s license or other form of age identifying photo identification to their appointment.
