2021 OC St. Patrick’s Day Parade canceled

OCEAN CITY, Md. – The Delmarva Irish American Club has made the decision to cancel this year’s St. Patrick’s Day in Ocean City.

The parade, which has been taking place for over four decades, is a popular event in Ocean City and the unofficial kickoff to the spring season.

“The health of our community is of the most importance, and in addition to that is the health and welfare of our participants is also paramount,” stated parade chairman Buck Mann.

Town of Ocean City officials say that although they are disappointed, they remain optimistic for future events in 2021.

The parade has been rescheduled for March 12, 2022.
