15 dogs find forever families following holiday sleepover program

DELAWARE – During the Christmas season, Brandywine Valley SPCA offered 19 dogs for a sleepover program to encourage adoptions and give the dogs a home for the holidays.

Well, 15 of those 19 dogs now have a forever family. BVSPCA says one of the dogs was rescued from a South Korean dog meat farm and another was adopted the same day she was returned from her sleepover. They also say those 15 dogs were some of the most overlooked dogs in the shelter.

On top of this, we’re told another dog who was in the sleepover program is currently being fostered and will likely be adopted.
