Wicomico Day School holds annual Holiday Bazaar to help raise money for new playground

SALISBURY, Md. – In Salisbury, the Wicomico Day School held their Third Annual Holiday Bazaar as part of their effort to raise money for a new playground.

The event took place outside the school.

People got the chance to buy items from more than 20 different local vendors while enjoying live music. According to event organizers, their current playground equipment is still usable but it’s outdated.

They say events like this one are a win-win helping them raise money while also helping local businesses impacted by COVID-19.

“The kids are just you know our heart and we’re just hoping we can get there sooner rather than later and this day this event really does help,” said Wicomico Day School Parent Association President Joan Wharton.
