Tyson Foods donates coats to those in need
TEMPERANCEVILLE, Va. – Tyson Foods Temperanceville complex put together a coat drive to keep those in need warm this upcoming winter.
Over the weekend, the company donated 50 coats to the Eastern Shore Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Light House Ministries. We’re told this is the first year the Temperanceville complex has hosted a coat drive. The donation comes as capacity limits are expected to be put in place at shelters and warming centers across the state. Along with coats, team members also collected outerwear items like gloves, hats, and shoes through the drive.
