Traffic stop leads to multiple arrests

GEORGETOWN, Del. – Three people from New York were arrested after shoplifting tools and merchandise were found during a traffic stop.

On Monday, around noon, Georgetown officers stopped a vehicle on Route 113 traveling southbound for a traffic violation.

Police say after contacting the driver, they discovered that the registration for the vehicle was fake.

Police then conducted a search and discovered multiple items of clothing with security tags still attached and multiple items designed for shoplifting.

Policed then identified the driver as Jermaine Miller. The passengers were identified as Morisa Kelly and Roxanne Goulburne. All three were from Brooklyn, NY. They were charged with possession of shoplifting tools,  second degree conspiracy and receiving stolen property under $1500.

Miller was also charged with multiple traffic violations and was committed to Sussex Correctional Institute on a $4250 secured bond.

Meanwhile, Kelly and Goulburne were both committed to Sussex Correctional Institute on a $4000 secured bond.
