Somerset Co. Schools extend in-person school closure

Corona 2

WESTOVER, Md. – Somerset County Public Schools have extended their initial school closure for in-person learning until Monday, January 11th.

We’re told this extension is due to persisting rates of COVID-19 infection within the county.

Classes will resume virtually after winter break on Monday, January 4th, and Wednesdays will become asynchronous learning days moving forward until in-person learning resumes.

Student meals will once again be available for curbside pickup at Deal Island Elementary, Greenwood Elementary, Princess Anne Elementary, Washington High School, Somerset Intermediate, Woodson Elementary, and Crisfield High School beginning on January 4th, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily.
