Rehoboth man arrested on numerous drug, weapons charges
REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Delaware State Police arrested a Rehoboth man Tuesday morning following a several months long investigation into alleged drug dealing.
We’re told the suspect, 23-year-old Dishere Tingle, was pulled over by police at around 9:30 a.m., after leaving a residence on Airport Road. Tingle was taken into custody, and a search of the vehicle led to the recovery of approximately 5.08 grams of crack cocaine and $5,240 in suspected drug money.
Troopers then conducted a legal search warrant at Tingle’s residence, leading to the recovery of a Taurus Judge .410 revolver loaded with five rounds of ammunition, two digital scales, and approximately .02 grams of crack cocaine. Two children were also located inside the residence at the time of the search.
Tingle was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm within 10 years of a prior conviction, possession of a firearm/ammunition by a person prohibited, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He was held at SCI on a $92,600 secured bond.
