Police: Teen siblings charged following domestic dispute

HARRINGTON, Del. – Harrington Police have arrested two teens following a domestic incident.

We’re told police were called to a residence in the 200 block of Messicks Road for a reported domestic dispute. On arrival, it was learned that the 17-year-old female and 16-year-old male were brother and sister and had gotten into a verbal argument, which quickly escalated into a physical altercation. It is alleged that the female stabbed the man in the abdomen with a fork and also threatened him with a knife. It is also alleged that the male choked and assaulted the female.

The male was charged with strangulation and offensive touching, while the female was charged with second degree assault and aggravated menacing. Both were released to family members pending a future court date.
