Police: Man steals vehicle in Dover apartment complex
DOVER, Del. – A Dover man is behind bars after he allegedly stole a vehicle Thursday morning.
Troopers say they responded to the Dover Estates apartment complex shortly after 7 a.m. for a report of a stolen vehicle. Troopers met with a 22-year-old man who reported that he went outside to warm up his 2013 Ford Edge and then returned to his apartment. When he came back, he found his vehicle was missing, in addition to his cell phone which was still inside the vehicle.
Troopers were able to track down the stolen vehicle to the area of Fast Landing Road in Cheswold. We’re told troopers then located the vehicle and followed it to a nearby mall, at which point Michael Pulliam got out of the vehicle.
Pulliam was subsequently taken into custody and was charged with felony theft of a motor vehicle. He was held at SCI on a $2,000 cash bond.
