Police: Juvenile shot in Cambridge, investigation underway

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – The Cambridge Police Department says a juvenile was shot in Cambridge on Monday and they are searching for the person or people responsible.

According to officials, police responded to the 500 block of Leonard’s Lane shortly before 8 PM for reports of a gun shot victim. They found a male juvenile with one gun shot wound. The victim was taken to Salisbury for surgery and as of Tuesday morning he was listed in critical but stable condition.

Cambridge Police say they learned the victim was shot in the area of Moore’s Avenue. The investigation is ongoing but police do not believe there is a threat to the community.
