Noise For Toys looks to use music to help others

MARYLAND -This Sunday people in Berlin, Md will have the opportunity to enjoy music and help spread holiday cheer.  The 13th installment of the ‘Noise for Toys’ concert will be going on at the Globe Theatre.

It will feature 10 local artists and go from 9 am to 9pm. The event is being put on by Revolution Entertainment and all you have to do to get in is bring a new unopened toy. That toy will then go to the Marine Corps ‘Toys for Tots’ program so that kids can have toys on Christmas day.
“It was my way of staying connected to the marine corps when I got out in 2004 and it was my way of giving back to the community while doing so and as a musician I wanted to make sure I brought together local musicians for the same cause,” said Jason Lee, the event organizer.
Lee says masks are going to be required, but can be taken off when you’re eating or drinking. He also says people can drop off toys at the Globe if they want to help but don’t have time to stay for the concert.
