Harrington man charged with six different crimes

HOUSTON, Del. – A Harrington man was arrested for reckless endangering after a shooting incident that occurred Christmas night.

Around 11 p.m., troopers responded to Williamsville Road in Houston for a report of a shooting.  Officers say their investigation determined 30 year old, Dustin Edge had an argument with a 49 year old male inside a residence.

During the altercation, Edge reportedly showed a handgun to the victim and threatened to shoot him.  Police tell us, Edge fired a round at the victim and hit the floor, but the victim was uninjured.

Edge fled the home before police arrived,  but was later found hiding underneath a mobile home near the victim’s home and did not comply with Troopers.

Delaware State Police eventually apprehended Edge and taken into custody where he was charged with six different crimes, including reckless endangering 1st degree, and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.

Edge was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $42,000 cash bond.
