Fire destroys Hebron home
HEBRON, Md. – Fire officials say a fire completely destroyed a Hebron home Wednesday night.
We’re told firefighters from the Hebron Volunteer Fire Department responded to the blaze, located at 112 West Church Street, at around 8:15 p.m. Approximately 35 firefighters battled the blaze, which took about an hour to control.
Maryland State Fire Marshals responded to the scene and are working to determine the cause of the fire, which reportedly began in the attached two-car garage. The three adults and two children occupying the home were able to escape safely, as well as the family pet. No injuries were reported.
Total fire damage has been estimated at $200,000.
