Dorchester Co. schools donate to United Way

DORCHESTER CO., Md. – Dorchester County Public Schools gave a generous donation to a local non-profit that helps create and enhance opportunities for those less fortunate here on the shore.

This year, DCPS staff contributed over $13,000 to the United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore. On Monday, all schools were recognized for contributing more than $500 collectively.

UWLES is thanking the school system’s community for its generosity in supporting local programs through the United Way.
