DEVELOPING: Man shot twice in leg in Pocomoke

POCOMOKE, Md. – Police say a man was shot twice in the leg in Pocomoke Wednesday afternoon.

Chief Lee Brumley with the Pocomoke Police Department says the shooting happened at the Taco Bell on Newtowne Boulevard at around 4:30 p.m.

We’re told the victim’s injuries do not appear to be life threatening, and police do have a suspect.

Chief Brumley says the shooting does not appear to be random. He says there is no threat to the public.

The Worcester County Criminal Investigation Unit has since taken over the investigation from the Pocomoke Police Department.
