Caesar Rodney School District to shift to remote learning only through Dec. 9th

WYOMING, Del. – Caesar Rodney School District officials have announced that they will pause hybrid instruction from December 2nd to December 9th due to a rise in COVID-19 cases.

We’re told the decision comes after the Delaware Division of Public Health reported significant community spread of the virus in two of the three metrics used to indicate how school districts operate in terms of hybrid and remote learning options.

Students will participate in remote learning only during this time. The Board of Education says it hopes that by next week there will be more information available to allow them to determine a more long-term plan for students and teachers. A further evaluation will be made at that time.
