21-year-old man shot in Sunday morning shooting in Dover

DOVER, Del.- Dover Police are investigating the shooting of a 21-year-old man that happened early Sunday morning.

Officers said the shooting happened around 4:47 a.m in the 100 Block of S. New St.

We are told around 5:39 a.m. officers were notified that a shooting victim arrived to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital.

Police said the victim was hit twice in the upper leg and his injuries are not life threatening.

We are told the victim has been uncooperative with investigators.
