One injured in Dover shooting, police investigating

DOVER, Del. – Police say they are investigating a shooting that injured one over the weekend.

We’re told that just after 5 p.m. Sunday, Dover Police officers responded to the Burger King on East Loockerman Street for a report of a man who had been shot. Officers found the man suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder and learned that the incident took place in the 800 block of S. Little Creek Road.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
